Martha and Piki Ratana wearing Kahu huruhuru (Maori feather cloaks) and holding patu, on the 7th of May, 1924, before they went to the British Empire Exhibition. Photograph taken by Z A Morton, probably in Wanganui.
Inscriptions: Verso - Ratanas beautiful daughters. Martha & Piki Ratana who are on their way to the British Empire Exhibition. The head dress of Piki Ratana is to be presented to H R H Prince of Wales. 7/5/24
