Drawn on a unmarked base map of the North Island, depicts location of Waikato tribes prior to 1800, from Auckland, southwards to Waimiha, northeastwards to Ngongotaha, and northwards to the Coromandel Peninsula. Includes several Maori placenames and battlesites.
