Description

Photograph on the front of the postcard shows three soldiers in the uniform of the first World War. The man in the centre is seated and is flanked by two standing men.

The handwriting on the verso indicates that the card was written in Zeitoun on February 19th 1916, and says: "Dear May, I received your letter allright and I still have the cushion which you gave me. I would not part with it. The chap in the photograph is Bob Randle. Has Alice picked up any new soldiers yet. I remain your cousin, A H Caines"
