Red Cross workers on the wharf at Alexandria as the ship Tairea carrying repatriated prisoners of war berths. These workers with their mobile canteen do excellent work in welcoming returned POW with gifts of fruit, food patriotic parcels and tea. The appreciation of the men was swecond only to that given the Red Cross for its aid to them while in enemy hands. Photograph taken circa 3 November 1943 by George Robert Bull.
