- Description
Shows a stretch of the Whanganui River at Aramoho, with a large two-storeyed house amongst trees and lawn on the far side. The house is probably Sedgebrook (or Sedge Brook) Grange. Two girls walk along a riverside path in the foreground, and on the river six adults and one or two children pass by in a rowboat, near a flight of wooden steps leading down to the river.
Probably shows Sedgebrook Grange, the house of Major John Nixon. The original Sedgebrook Grange burned down and was rebuilt in 1882
