These sound recordings date from the time Peter Cooke was at Massey University which started in 1979, but mostly from the period 1982-83. Throughout 1982 he was involved with Radio Massey and in 1983 he edited the student newspaper `Chaff' and took an active interest in promoting local music. Much was discussed and reviewed in `Chaff' that year.
