Description

Poster argues that alcoholic stimulants are the most useful remedy in the primary stages of the influenza outbreak, and warns the public about the efforts of Prohibitionists to ban alcohol. Quotes Dr T H A Valentine [Valintine], Chief Health officer and Inspector-General of Hospitals, who stated, in the Epidemic Commission evidence, 11 March 1919, that: "From what I have seen during the epidemic, I am convinced that it is necessary that alcohol should be available for the people".
