The Foundation Stone about to be laid at the Petone Waterworks, 25th April 1903. Inscription on stone: Petone Waterworks. This stone was laid by His Worship the Mayor, Richd Mothes, Esqre. Councillors: Alex. Fraser, James Wilson, John G A Castle, Wm G Lodder, Dr W D Perry, F C Priest, Thomas Price, John W McEwen, H Alexander. Engineer Saml. Jickell.
