Workers preparing to paint the corrugated iron roof of Todd Motors in Porirua, photographed circa 14 March 1983 by Evening Post staff photographer Phil Reid. Original caption reads: "Armed with brooms and hose (from left) Ross Storey, Reid Ratana, Tom Allen, Rangi Teina, Richard June, Mysi Pulotu and Havila Aiona prepare for the next stage of their mammoth task under the direction of foreman Eddie Trinder in the background."
