Kaiwharawhara, Wellington, photographed circa 1932. Overlooks the Hutt Road close to the edge of Wellington Harbour, with railway lines running alongside. Reclamation work for the Tawa deviation of the North Island Main Trunk Railway is visible in the centre. Commercial buildings are at bottom right. Houses and hills are on the left.
