Cadastral map with topographical markings, showing in red ink the proposed Kakahi - Lake Taupo Railway, in the Whangaipeke Block, Piopiotea and Mangaku survey districts, southwest of Taupo. The railway runs along the Wanganui River, past the mill site at Te Rena, near Kopakituna and Papanui and the Whakapapa River. Map also names Maori tracks, streams, clearings, and other places.
Difficult to decipher the name of the surveyor.
