Six soldiers of the Light Infantry Company, 65th Regiment (Yorkshire, North Riding). From left to right: Buglar James Kendrick (another source identifies him a Bugler Austin), Company Sergeant-Major (another source identifies him as Colour Sergeant) William Acheson, Private Tobin, Lance-Corporal John Lennox, Sergeant Feltham and Sergeant (another source identifies him as Corporal) John Russell. Location, and photographer, unidentified.
The 'other source' mentioned in the Scope and Contents note refers to PA1-q-250-03 (page 3 of the Urquhart Album, PA1-q-250), another copy of the same image. Information in the album differs from that on the back of the file print of 1/2-025608)
