View of buildings in Church Street, Palmerston North, looking north from the Grand Hotel corner. The buildings house the District Valuer and the Inspector of Stock. The main building, and a shed on the right, are clad with batten boards and have shingled roofs, and there is an addition (office of the Inspector of Stock) which is clad in weatherboards and has a corrugated iron roof. Photograph taken by E R Whalley, photographer with premises in The Square.
