Description

Fragment from 12th Cambridge Music School, January 1957, comprises end of final item of final concert - Symphony no 8 by Beethoven; closing of school by Stewart R Morrision, Director of Adult Education; ringing of school bell by Arthur Spedding, who attended all the earlier Cambridge Music Schools; voice of Owen Jensen who directed the first twelve schools (Archive tape 109).

Interview of Mr Arthur Broadhurst, recorded at Lichfield, Staffordshire, by Christopher Small, on 30 November 1974; message for the 36th Cambridge Music School from A F Broadhurst OBE, recorded at Lichfield, Staffs, 15 Aug 1981, with voices of Ronald Dellow, Layton Ring. Radio interview by Anthony Jennings of the 28th(?)
