Shows man in pin-stripe waistcoat and trousers seated in centre, and standing wife holding small child in dress at right. At left is table on which are a sewing machine and a bird in a cage. On the wall behind are toetoe plumes arranged decoratively, and on floor is decorative patterned carpet or cloth..
