- Description
View of Arkles Bay looking north along the beach to Whangaparaoa Peninsula. In the immediate foreground is a man standing beside a cabbage tree looking down at the beach. Children are playing in the creek near to where it runs into the sea. Houses can be seen on the beachfront in the distance as well as the jetty. Houses can also be seen on the hill overlooking the beach in the far distance. Taken by William A Price in early 1900s.
