Survey plan of the property of S.S. Eyre at Pukekawa, covering lot 1, 2 and 6 in XII Onewhero survey district and lot 3 in Maramarua survey district, an area totalling over 834 acres. Two roads (Waihihi Punga and Eyres) run through the property as well as two streams, one of which is named Tararoa. Plan shows Eyre's house and bordering properties owned by MP Barton, Agnes Logan and Morrison.

Bottom right hand corner reads: 'Plans - 16038 blue and block sheet IX Maramarua SD, block sheet XII Onewhero SD.'

Pencil annotations over map include road names, direction of other properties, place where cream collected.

Survey map was also used as evidence in a murder trial at the Supreme Court, Auckland. Top left corner reads: 'Exhibit C. Rex ?Thorne', signed 'JW ?Conmon'.
