Contains images of people published in or used during research for 'Musical Legacy: Wellington Branch IRMT centennial history, 1908-2008'. Images are original colour prints taken mainly by unidentified photographers, and paper copies of images sourced from the Alexander Turnbull and Hocken libraries.
Individuals pictured include Janetta McStay, Judith Clark, Robert Parker, Ernest Cachemaille, Stanley Oliver, Elsie Betts-Vincent, Fanny McDonald, and Florence Murray. Group portraits include delegates at the first Conference of Professional Musicans of the Dominion (1908), members of the Music Teachers' Registration Board (1978), delegates at the First Conference of the Institute of Registered Music Teachers taken by Digby Spencer Studio (Wellington, 1982), and members of the Institute of Registered Music Teachers taken by Amber Studio (Nelson, date unknown).
Also contains correspondence regarding research with the Hocken Library (2004) and three letters of congratulations sent to the authors after publication (2009)
