Radio operator, E W Ritchie, working at the Musick Point Air Radio Station, Howick, Auckland. Photographed on the 29th of August 1946 by Whites Aviation.

The building was constructed between 1938 and 1941. The station was formally opened by Peter Fraser on 12 January 1942.
