Two scenes, the first showing A German soldier ('Hans') in a bunker squatting over a chopping block peacefully splitting logs, with the caption 'Han's axe' [i.e. Hans' axe]; the second scene, titled 'Anzacs!' shows Hans dashing off in horror, throwing his axe behind him, because armed Australian and New Zealand soldiers have appeared over the top of the bunker
