Scrapbook compiled by Pettifer including summary of voyage, postcards, ephemera, clippings, maps, stamps and photographs etc, two pressed feathers and a seal for HMS `Victoria'; obituary for him has been added. Also ten pages relating to New Zealand which include postcard images and newpaper cuttings of Maori with moko. Further pages capture images from the Pacific including the Hawaiian Islands and Samoa.
Album contains some examples of rose-tinted albumen prints.
Enclosures - Includes a feather from the extinct New Zealand Huia bird and a tail feather from a South African Jay bird.
