Description

Shows part of the Waihou River in the foreground, with a narrow bottleneck between cliff faces at the left. At the top right are "very early power lines from Horahora Station to Waihi" (according to accompanying recent caption)

The accompanying caption slip says: "The 'bridge' is about 100m from the hotel and hot springs on the Waihou R. It is not a cave but is a large block of limestone fallen into the gorge".
