9 views of Canterbury towns: Lincoln hotel, supply store and railway station; Hawarden Post and Telegraph Office; Waikari Post and Telegraph Office; street scene in Waikari; the promenade at Caroline Bay with a large hotel above it; the premises of the Dominion Compressed Yeast Company in Christchurch; and an unidentified town which is probably Timaru with boats moored in the harbour. Photographer unidentified.
The image which is probably Timaru is identified in the negative accession register as Rotheram but this town is inland and near neither a lake nor a river therefore this is not likley to be correct.
