Shows a peaceful inlet at low tide with shallow water in the foreground, possibly the mouth of a river. There are small boats on the water's edge at the right, houses beyond, and a range of hills in the background, one with traces of snow.
Inscription on verso gives name and address of owner Mr Moulder, who had the work framed.
