Manuscript map from Tauranga Harbour, showing Greerton, south along the Waimapu Stream, south to Otane Wainuku, showing road (or track) from Noawato to Te Puke, and from the harbour to Te Puke, from Tauranga through Greerton and south to Noawato and onwards towards Rotorua and a road or track that extends from Greerton and runs parallel to the Waimapu Stream. Also depicts a forest reserve, heavy rimu area, and suggested tramway route from the route in Whakamapama north to the stream.

Pencil annotation of 'Kaiwai' is crossed out and replaced with 'Whakamapama'.
