Looking up the Hutt River, towards a bridge over the rocky riverbed, Upper Hutt. Photograph taken circa 1930s by an unidentified photographer. Copy negative taken by an unidentified photographer. Identified as the bridge built by May Morn Estates Limited for a light private railway which ran between Mangaroa, Te Marua and the Akatarawa Forest to extract timber for milling.
