A small wooden cottage with chimney at one end, three windows, a thatched roof, standing on its own in a bush clearing in Hutt Forest
Known as Hope Cottage originally; when Hawkeshead was built this became the kitchen. Information from Mr Geoffrey Swainson.
The kitchen was destroyed by fire 1848.
