The copies address the following; the construction of an Anglican Church at Rangitukia, the Governor's visit to the Bay of Islands, the declaration of martial law in Taranaki, notes on agriculture and market prices, notes on animal husbandry, a statement about intertribal hostilities between Ngati Awa and Te Arawa in the Bay of Plenty, and boat racing at Auckland
