Shows a view along the waterfront at Nelson, with the hull of a boat drawn up on the shore at the left centre. Houses line the shore, with a group of boatsheds off the point at the far end. A cliff descends to the point. A buoy floats in the water in the right foreground.
Along the top is a frieze-like drawing, upside down, showing a bridge, a boat drawn up at a waterfront, and sketches of buildings.
