Shows a version of the Hare and the Tortoise story, with the Hare (Smart Boy Maui Gas) resting and laughing as he reads an advertisement for a smart boy wanted by the Electricity Department. However, Coal the tortoise has passed him. Mt Taranaki is shown in the right distance, because the Maui Gas field is near the Taranaki coast.
