- Description
Sketch shows the terrain of part of Palestine looking from a high place over a wadi which runs across the picture from hills at the right. Features, mainly on the far side of the wadi, are labelled - from left to right: road, gunpits behind hill, Turkish cemetery, trees on plain, rows short trenches, trenches along ridge, trenches, rough waterworn hills, trenches, gentle slope, clump trees, trenches, NZ B[ritish] HQ (on near side of wadi), villae (large red roofed bldg), rough gully, site of Turkish Hos., trenches, wadi visible, horselines, trenches.
