This trolley bus (or trackless tram) was built by Associated Equipment Co. Ltd. London, for Inglis Brothers (New Zealand agents). Inglis Brothers had received it by 10 September 1924. The line ran from Thorndon to Kaiwharawhara. It closed 30 May 1932.
