Description

The wolf, representing the Labour govenment's policy of 'usehold' (which was its compromise policy that watered down its land nationalisation scheme) has a sheep's covering of 'innocence' but has 'red' and 'bolshie' flags tied on its tail. The small lamb, 'New Zealand voter', that the wolf confronts says 'What big teeth you have'.

The 'usehold' policy was later dropped when the Labour government realised that it had to accept freehold tenure if it was to win the farmers' votes.
