Description

Street scene at Port Chalmers in the 1870s. Looking up the upper end of Mount Street, with businesses on the right including A W Johnson, ship chandler, and A Thomson, also a ship chandler. The first Presbyterian church is on the hill above the other buildings, centre right of the image. Taken by an unidentified photographer.
