Description

New Zealand prime minister Thomas Mckenzie, on a dark path at night watched by William Massey in an ambush, clutches to himself an apple labelled 'ministry', and a club (trusty waddy) labelled 'party pledges'. Mckenzie, who took office in March 1912, lost office to Massey in July 1912.
