Negatives produced by the Tesla Studio, founded and operated by Mark Lampe, and by the F J Denton studio, which Lampe acquired ca 1930. Frank J Denton acquired the studio of Alfred Martin (a continuation of that founded in 1856 by W J Harding) in 1899, and operated it until its purchase by Lampe in circa 1927. The collection consists mostly of the work of Lampe and Denton, with a smaller number of negatives by Martin.
