Original caption reads: "The roof of the flats has more than its share of Wellington's noted wind."
"These flats were the first major highrise building and the first major apartment block built in Wellington after World War II. The block was designed by Gordon Wilson and Ernst Plischke for the Housing Construction Department, and contains 116 apartments." (Information from caption used in "Darling, I'm home!" display).
