This scene shows a suburban setting with two men leaning over their adjoining fence talking to each other. A woman is leaning out the kitchen window brandishing a dish mop and calling the man, whose words form the title of this cartoon, in to do the dishes. Australian feminist Germaine Greer had recently visited New Zealand attracting much publicity.
