Typescript of a diary written by Charles William Hull on board the `Ionic', dated 2 Oct-16 Nov 1890. Describes day to day activities on the ship. The second part of the diary is written by Charles' brother Horace Henry Hull, dated 27 Aug 1892 and describes their first few weeks in New Zealand in 1890 in Wellington and Dunedin.
