- Description
Shows a group of three research staff standing in an office up to their knees in paper. On the wall is a large graph on which they are measuring the popularity polls on Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter. There are posters of Reagan and Carter on the wall next to them. Refers to the reported voting preferences of a group of American hostages being held in Iran.
Cartoon was put up for sale, but not sold, at the New Zealand Cartoon Archive auction held in November 1997.
Extended Title - "...and if the hostages are released immediately 60% would prefer to vote for Khomeini."
