Shows a marlin or swordfish in the foreground leaping and struggling on a fishing line held by a man in a fishing boat, with companions. The background sky is yellow.
The New Zealand Government Publicity Office was operating in the 1920s. However, this image appeared on a series of tourist stamps issued about 1935, and featuring other images dating from the mid-1930s. It is possible that the poster was issued in the 1920s, and then re-used as one of the tourist stamp series in 1935.
