- Description
A view of the settlement of Picton from the shoreline a little distance away shows fishing nets drying on poles in the right foreground, and a man in a dinghy in the left foreground. At the waterfront at Picton a yacht, a sailing ship and a steamship are tied up, and two other yachts sail on the stretch of water in the middle distance. Amongst the buildings of the town is a large two-storeyed building which may be a hotel.
