Description: Shows two drunk fishermen returning home across a field in which a scarecrow stands with outstretched arms. Description: Card promoting the Tokaanu Hot Lakes Hotel, its hot springs, moderate costs, wines and spirits, billiard table, saddle horses, and a guide available for trips to Tongariro, Ngauruhoe and Rotoairi. The back cover notes that in the season both native and imported game is very abundant, and a few miles away are caves "containing the skulls and bones of the greatest warrior chiefs in New Zealand.
