Probably a photograph of the ANZAC Mounted Division, or the New Zealand Mounted Rifle Brigade. The place is either in Egypt or Palestine. Photographed by an unkown photographer some time between 1916 and 1918.

Guy Powles to whom this photograph belonged, was an officer in the New Zealand Mounted Rifles Brigade and the ANZAC Mounted Division fighting in Egypt and Palestine between 1916 and 1918.
