Shows Nelson Haven and Tasman Bay with ships of the New Zealand Company preliminary expedition, Will Watch, Arrow and Whitby, lying at anchor, near Haulashore Island.
Attribution to Heaphy is dubious on stylistic grounds, although he and F. G. Moore farmed together in the Motueka area, and Moore is mentioned on the work
