Diary covers the period 9 Oct 1916 to 7 Jun 1917 while he serving as Private in the No.2 Field Ambulance on the Western Front. The diary contains an account of his daily activities.
Private David Clarence Pryor, 3/2064, New Zealand Medical Corps. Prior to the war he was a school teacher in Masterton. After arriving in Egypt in 1916 he served the rest of the war in Europe.
