Outdoor group portrait taken at a meeting in the King Country, circa 1890s, possibly at Tauwhare. Shows John Seddon, and James Carroll (second to right of Seddon), seated amongst a group of men, women and children, both Maori and Pakeha. Occasion, and photographer, unidentified.

Arrangement: Formerly at 1/1-002331. Cracked neg is now sandwiched between glass and stored at 10x8-1724.
