Section of the beach tramway between Karekare and Whatipu, Auckland. Photograph taken by Albert Percy Godber, between 1915 and 1916.
This section of the tramway was an extension of the tramway between Piha and Karekare. It was built to speed the transport of timber to the wharf at Whatipu.
