The buildings of the Manawatu Stables are at the end of the square and there are several horse-drawn vehicles in the street. Photograph taken by William A Price.

Other - This portion of The Square later called Broadway Avenue, but in earlier Wise's Post office Directories the whole area is called The Square, and Broadway Avenue is not used.
