Description

Two photographs of Duntroon Railway Station with Campbell Street next to it; men working on the railway near Duntroon railway bridge; the railway bridge at Duntroon; the bridge over the Mangaroa River with some old track next to it; looking down the platform at Palmerston North Railway Station with goods trains in the yards, a passenger express train at the platform, the Railway Hotel on the right and in the distance the businesses of Barraud & Abraham and A Loufresne, builder; Middlemarch Station with the Railway Hotel and a Billiard and Sample Rooms on the right; Fairlie Station with a coal train on the left; and steam locomotives including the Rotorua express at Morrinsville station. Photographer was Muir & Moodie.

Two have a stamp, or part, in German on the reverse.
